Address all aspects of configuring the customizable components of IBM Tivoli Netcool/Realtime Active Dashboards (RAD). Undertake practical exercises throughout the course, to learn the foundations of creating dashboards and utilizing the various components within RAD. Focus on step-by-step use of charts, tables, custom canvases and RAD layout. Start with a preinstalled copy of RAD and OMNIbus; no installation is done in the course.
This is an advanced course for network and system management developers and engineers who create and administer management dashboards using RAD.
You should complete:
IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus 7.0 User (TN010)
IBM Tivoli Netcool/RAD 3.0 Fundamentals (TN190)
You should have:
Netcool/OMNIbus proficiency (TN010)
Understanding of Web development skills, particularly Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Extensible Markup Language (XML)
Solid fundamentals in UNIX environment administration
Fundamental SQL skills
IBM Tivoli Netcool/RAD 3.0 Fundamentals (TN190) or equivalent knowledge
