Mibtree - Maximising the customer experience

Dave Lewis is Mibtree's Managing Director and has worked in the Network Management industry since completing a degree in Computer Science. He has professional consultancy and training accreditations across the entire Tivoli Netcool suite and has extensive real-world experience with most other Tivoli Netcool products.

Dave has worked on numerous projects, worldwide, of varying sizes. The qualities that he brings to any project are a broad technical experience, a hunger to solve problems and an all important attention to detail.

Martin Sims is Mibtree's Technical Director and has worked in the Communications and Computer Networking industry for many years and, as a result, has a breadth of knowledge and skills across a range of areas within the Telecommunications sector.

Martin is a fully qualified, world renouned trainer and consultant in all Tivoli Netcool products, including Netcool/OMNIbus, Netcool/Impact, Netcool/Webtop, Network Manager IP Edition, TBSM, Netcool/Proviso and ITM.

Martin has spent many years helping customers with Training Needs Analysis and honed his skills in the development and delivery of tailored training packages.

Martin has a proven track record in delivering training and consultancy all over the world and he brings this experience into the classroom which adds extremely useful context to all training courses he delivers.

John Dixon is Mibtree's training manager and heads up the Mibtree Technical Training Department.

John holds a Masters in Computer Science and has over 19 years experience in the Software and Telecommunications industries. This includes nine years experience of teaching OSS systems to telecoms engineers around the world. John has a passion for training and believes that good training should build confidence and well as skills.

As well as previous roles within software development and technical training, John has experience in quality management using ISO 9000 and CMM.

Gary Catlin holds diplomas in Electronics and Communications and in Radio Systems and Telecommunications and has 17 years experience working in the telecommunications industry followed by 11 years experience as a consultant in the OSS and Network Management industry, working with blue chip companies.

Gary has extensive experience working with Netcool Proviso and Tivoli Network Manager, amongst many other high-end applications. He is a Senior Consultant and Trainer with a background in Business Development and is used to interpreting and delivering customer requirements.

Matthew Appleton has a BEng in Manufacturing Engineering, and joined Mibtree in May 2004 after working for COLT Telecommunications. Matthew has extensive experience building and working with network management systems attributable to his time spent at COLT where he was involved in building their Pan-European Netcool System.

Matthew is a Netcool Certified Consultant and has far reaching experience with Netcool/OMNIbus, Netcool/Impact, Netcool/Webtop and TBSM in large telecommunications environments.

Matthew brings with him the experience of years working with end-users pulling together many different requirements into one consolidated view of what is wanted and needed, delivering the best solution for the business.

Paul Jenkinson holds a degree in Computer and Network Technology and has been with Mibtree since 2004. During that time, Paul has headed up the Mibtree 24 x 7 helpdesk solving problems for all of our maintenance and support customers and then moved into the field as a Technical Consultant.

Paul's constant exposure to fresh challenges generated by our customers and consultants pushing the boundaries of the product set means that he stays ahead of the game and fully up-to-date with current trends and product releases.

Paul has a Programming and Networking background and has extensive experience in support and problem solving roles across multiple platforms and environments.

Tony Barratt has a Degree in Computer Science and Maths and Post-Graduate Diploma in Computing. He is a Netcool Certified Consultant and has gained Sun SCSA, Cisco CCNA and Microsoft MSCE+I accreditations.

Having been a consultant since 1995 for blue chip clients including Nortel, Telfort, IBM, and the European Space Agency, Tony has extensive successful experience integrating new facilities into Network Providers including complex network management solutions.

Tony is an accomplished trainer, delivering courses on a variety of products including the entire Netcool suite.

Nik Dimmock has worked within the Network Management industry for over 11 years. He has an HP OpenView certification in Network Node Manager and also holds NGenius and Sun technical certifications.

Nik has vast real-world experience working on international projects of varying size. The qualities that he brings to any project are technical experience and a dedication to working closely with clients to meet their requirements.

Steve Hicks joined Mibtree after several years working with databases and OSS solutions in the banking sector. He is used to working in high-pressure environments where quality and accuracy are of paramount importance, delivering projects to specification and on time.

Tony Papworth joined Mibtree from a management & technical background working in the banking sector. He calls upon this varied mix of experience when specifying solutions and working with customers.

Tony is comfortable working under pressure and coping with the range of technical challenges that arise from his position as field-consultant.

Wesley Fitzpatrick holds a degree in Computing and Management and has a background of eight years spent in high-tec logistics, working with OSS, databases and programming.

Stephen Starr holds diplomas in Telecommunications and has 16 years experience working within the Telecommunications industry focusing on network transmission and primarily the support of Cisco devices. Stephen has spent the last 11 years specialising in design, implementation and support of a broad range of OSS systems covering IP, Telephony, Transmission and Optical technologies. He has vast knowledge of performance management products including Netcool/Proviso, InfoVista and Indicative, as well as excellent knowledge of the Tivoli Netcool suite as a whole.

Stephen not only holds a number of certifications from suppliers such as IBM, InfoVista, HPOV, Concord E-Health and Smarts, but is also certified to deliver training for these products. He has “real world” experience and involvement of most areas of large OSS implementation and integration projects in the UK, Europe and North America.

Alex Read has a long and varied background in IT support and management environments and has extremely broad experience working within diverse environments, under pressure. Alex currently works within Mibtree’s specialist Application Discovery, Dependency and Monitoring team.

Nick Bridgeman holds a degree in Network Systems Management and has excellent knowledge of networks at all levels.

Nick has in-depth knowledge and experience across all Tivoli Netcool products.
