The IBM Pulse conference is the industry's premiere Service Management event focusing primarily on IBM's Tivoli, Netcool and Maximo products. 2009 is the second year of the now annual Pulse conference and was hosted at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. As usual, Mibtree was there in force and we sponsored the event with an exhibition stand where we met many friends and customers and absorbed much information from the excellent presentations laid on by IBM.

Once again, the Mibtree soft toy tiger mascots were a favorite amongst the delegates and this year we asked all new owners to have a photograph taken with their new friend for our website. We have published these photos on this and the next two pages!

As the tigers are proving so popular, we have decided to produce a Mibtree calendar in time for 2010 featuring our furry friends (we may even produce a mid-year calendar in time for Pulse 2010). It is hoped that we can collect at least 12 photos of tigers (preferably ones we have given away at the conference) in amusing or exotic locations to include on the calendar. We would like to make this a charitable pursuit and we will be giving some thought to how this can be achieved. It may take the form of Mibtree pledging to make a charitable donation for each picture published, or we may rope some Mibtree Consultants into a physical challenge of some sort for charity. Any suggestions on this or other tiger-related humour or, indeed, pictures of your tiger for the calendar will be gratefully received at tigers@mibtree.com.
